The ocean never overflows

Rivers flow into the sea, but the sea never overflows. It flows onward—as rain, as vapor. A cycle, not an accumulation.

The ocean never overflows
```xml Get comfortable. Let your shoulders drop. Take one deep breath in. And out again. Feel how your body relaxes. Today I want to tell you a story about the sea. About the eternal giving and taking of nature. Imagine you're standing on a beach. The sun is setting, the water glitters golden. You watch as wave after wave rolls onto the shore. Every second, thousands of liters of water flow from the land back into the sea. Streams flow from the mountains. Streams become rivers. Rivers flow into the sea. Day after day, year after year, for millions of years. And yet – the sea never overflows. Never does it rise so high that it floods the entire earth. Why not? The sea takes in everything the rivers bring. But it keeps nothing for itself. It gives onward. It rises as warm water vapor. Becomes clouds. Rains down over mountains and fields. Nourishes plants, animals, humans. Fills the streams and rivers again. An endless cycle of giving. Imagine if the sea hoarded. Imagine if it held on to every drop it receives. What would happen? The continents would be flooded. No more rain for the fields. No springs in the mountains. Life would suffocate. But the sea does not hoard. It trusts the cycle. It knows: What I give returns. Not the same water – but new water. Again and again. Breathe with me in. And out. Think of your own life. Where do you hold on? Time, money, love, attention? Breathe in – receive. Breathe out – give onward. What happens in your life when you become like the sea? When you receive, but do not hoard? When you give, but trust? Another breath. Feel how natural the giving and taking of your breath is. Your lungs do not hoard air. They let go so that something new can come. There is enough – when you stop hoarding. There is enough – when you stop hoarding. The sea knows it. Your breath knows it. Take this thought with you into your day. Trust the cycle of life. Come back slowly. Feel your feet on the ground. Breathe deeply in and out. Open your eyes. Thank you for these shared minutes. Thank you for using Calm Sessions. ```
