After a hectic day, everything feels like too much. This meditation gently brings your attention back to your body and into the here and now.

Back to the Present Moment
Direct your attention gently to the breath that guides you into the present moment. Breathe into the tension that you may feel. With each exhale, let go of some of this tension. Imagine your breath as a gentle stream flowing through your body. Where in your body do you feel this flow most clearly? What if you could allow yourself to be exactly as you are right now? Breathe in deeply and feel how the breath creates space. With the exhale, let go of everything you no longer need. Imagine you could observe yourself from the outside with great compassion. Continue breathing quietly and feel how your body relaxes more and more. Notice the sounds around you without judging them. Feel the contact of your feet with the ground, as if you were standing firmly rooted. With each breath, you arrive more in the here and now. Let the feeling of peace spread throughout your body.
