Comfort
Direct your attention now to what is heavy right now. Perhaps it shows itself in the body. Perhaps more as a feeling. You don't have to name it. You may simply perceive it. Feel at the same time that you are held. By the ground beneath you. By the space around you. With each exhale, a little of the burden may flow away. Just as it is possible now. Without pressure. Without expectation. Perhaps a quiet moment of comfort arises. Perhaps only one breath more of space. Both are enough. Remember that difficult times are not all of who you are. They are a part of your experience. And this part too may be accompanied. You don't have to be strong. You may be tired. You may lean inward. Feel whether there is a small stable point somewhere in the body. Perhaps quite inconspicuous. Perhaps only as a neutral sensation. Let your attention rest there. Like something that quietly holds you. Stay for one more moment with this feeling of being held. Quite still.
