These threads are the expectations of other people.
Some pull at your arms, others at your heart.
Feel how heavy this burden has become.
Breathe deeply and recognize: These threads are not part of you.
They were attached to you from the outside.
Take a conscious breath and begin to observe one thread after another.
There is the expectation to always be strong.
The voice that says you must be perfect.
The weight of others' hopes on your shoulders.
