Three Good Things of the Day

At the end of the day, everything can feel gray. This meditation gently directs your attention to three concrete things that went well today – even if they were small.

Three Good Things of the Day
```xml We begin with the first good thing of your day. It can be tiny – a friendly glance, a warm sip of coffee, a moment of silence. Go through your day in your mind, from the moment you woke up. What gave you a little smile? Take your time and let it emerge before your inner eye. Do you see it? Do you feel it? Breathe with this first good thing and feel how it settles in your body. Perhaps a small warmth arises in your chest or a feeling of lightness. Now let us find the second good thing. Perhaps it was an encounter with someone who matters to you. Or a moment in which you accomplished something, even if it was small. It may also have been simply the feeling that your body carried you today. Take a conscious breath and let this second good thing come to you. Observe it with curiosity, without judging it or wanting to make it bigger. It is good enough, just as it is. Feel the gratitude that may arise when you think of this moment. Breathe with this gratitude and let it spread throughout your body. Now we search for the third good thing. Sometimes the most beautiful moments hide in the most everyday situations. Was there a birdsong you heard today? A smile that you gave or received? A moment of rest among all the tasks? Take a deep breath and open your heart to this third good thing. It is there, even if it seems hidden at first. Let it come to you gently, without pressure, without rush. Now hold all three good things in your awareness at the same time. Three small lights in your day today. Feel how together they create a warmer, brighter picture. Breathe with these three good things and feel the shift in your body. Perhaps your face relaxes or your shoulders soften. These three things were here today, they are part of your experience. They show you that even on grey days, small miracles happen. ```
